With the evolution of regulation from state control to the fully-independent model that is the internationallyrecognized best practice, great decision making authority has been delegated to the commissioners of these institutions. With that additional authority comes enhanced responsibilities and fiduciary duties with respect to critical sectors of state and national economies and the well-being of its stakeholders. Over an intensive five-day period, the Institute for Public-Private Partnerships, A Tetra Tech Company (IP3), offers a high-level review of key issues facing today’s regulators. Presentations will be supplemented by case studies that demonstrate best practices as well as regulatory shortcomings and lessons learned from regulatory authorities of various sectors from countries around the world.

Participants will be responsible for attending all presentations and site visits, actively participating in discussions, case studies and group exercises, and completing a strategic action plan to directly facilitate changes within their organization, department, and team.
